Reservations:
A $500 deposit is required upon booking.
Payments:
Full payment is required 30 days prior to departure.
Payment can be made by Master Card, Visa, Bank Card or Pay Pal. All renters must possess a valid credit card.
Cancellation Policy:
• Booked and cancelled within 5 days; no charge
• Over 30 days prior to departure; $ 50
• 30 – 15 days prior to departure; $200
• 14 – 8 days prior to departure; $500
• 7 – Departure day/no shows; 100% of the rental charges
Minimum Rental
- 7 nights between June 1st and Sept. 15 (shorter bookings are dependent on availability)
- 3 nights for the remainder of the year.
Please be aware that should you decide to amend vehicle type, pick-up or drop-off location, or dates of rental, after the quote or booking has been issued, your entire booking will be recalculated based on the rates applicable at the time of amendment.
Security Deposit
• Rentals require a deposit of $1,000
• An open credit card authorization is taken at departure for all rentals.
• Security deposits must be made by credit card and are processed.
• Deposits are refunded when the vehicle is returned complete with all equipment, in a clean and undamaged condition.
Our Nightly Rate includes:

Fuel
Island RV Rent makes no representation as to fuel consumption. Vehicles is supplied with a minimum ¼ tank. If the guest returns with less fuel than on departure, he/she will be charged for that amount of fuel. There is no refund if client returns with more fuel than on departure.
Preparation Charges
There is a preparation charge of $59 per booking. This includes transfers to and from the airport and airport area hotels, vehicle preparation (including first supply of propane and toilet chemicals).
Generator Use Charges
One hour generator use per day is included
Additional hours will be charged $20.- per hour
Early Returns/Unused Kilometres
Sorry, there are no refunds for early returns or unused kilometres.
Repairs/Maintenance Responsibility
Our vehicles are in top mechanical condition. In the unlikely event that a mechanical failure occurs, guests are authorized to proceed with the necessary repairs up to $100. For expenses over $100, guests must telephone 250-656-RENT (7368) or 250-727-1912 for authorization before proceeding with repairs. Replacement parts must be returned to the rental station for reimbursement. Guests assume full responsibility for damage to tires and undercarriage. Oil, tire pressure and coolant must be checked at each refueling. Costs for oil will be refunded upon presentation of receipts. The company's responsibility is limited to the refund of the daily gross rate, or portion thereof, if the breakdown repair is longer than 48 hours.

Driving License/Driver's Age
- All drivers must possess a driver's license valid for the entire rental period
- An international driver's license is recommended for foreign tourists
- Minimum age is 21. Only drivers listed on contract are allowed to drive
- Additional Driver Fee: $5.00 per night for each additional driver
- Driving in U.S.: $10 per night for each vehicle entering the US. In the event Island RV Rentals is not made aware of travel in the US and an incident occurs the insurance coverage will be void and the client will be fully responsible for all costs.
Travel Restricted Areas
Vehicles are not permitted to enter Mexico at any time. Travel to Death Valley is limited to the low season (01 October through 30 April) due to extremely high temperatures which can cause system failures. Also, a $10/night fee applies to any travel within the United States (including Alaska). Guests assume all responsibility for any expense or loss of time while traveling in restricted areas.
