TRAVELLER'S CHECKLIST

In order to have a safe and incident free holiday, please read the following recommendations:

•  NEVER leave valuables in the R.V. when unattended. Island RV Rent bears no responsibility for theft or loss, nor for damage.

•  Please OBEY posted speed limits. It is the law and is strictly enforced.

•  Seatbelts are MANDATORY in Canada and the U.S.A.

•  ALWAYS have someone at the driver's rear corner to guide the driver when backing up.

•  ALWAYS be aware of the overhang past the rear wheels and the swing clearance required when turning.

•  ALWAYS check overhead clearances. Please be aware of building overhangs, filling station canopies, bridges, and tree branches. Clearance is 12 feet or 3.7 meters.

•  ALWAYS gear down to assist braking on hills. Otherwise the wear on the brakes can be excessive, possibly leading to potentially dangerous lack of breaking ability.

• 2 -   1 below 30 km/hr

WHAT TO DO

BEFORE YOU DROP OFF YOUR MOTORHOME:

•  Make sure that your waste water tanks are dumped.

•  Refill the gas to where it was when you picked up the unit.

•  Fridge:  Clean out & wipe up any spillage.

•  Stove:  Wipe stove-top free of grease & food.

•  Oven:  Make sure it is clean.

•  Wipe down table & all counters

•  Wash dishes/pots & pans/cutlery etc. if dish kit is included.

•  Clean bathroom shower/tub & sink.

•  Sweep & damp wipe the floor.

•  Remove any garbage.

•  Remove all food & personal belongings.
